Racing car blues

Vrroom, vrroom, my car is fast!
Alas, the race's finish is doom.
To 1 kmph my speed i slow,
Now i see the beauty on show.
In the mirror my tongue is pink.
I'm ready to say, when at the brink,
"No regrets," except just one:
Can't revv again to have more fun!
