Bold to reach across the years,
Across oceans, thousands of miles,
On the wings of ether, and yet,
And yet...
And yet... 

And yet hope waves my wings
In circling swathes
Over Florida
Or California
Or somewhere there, lost,

Before the long passage back,
In an instant, yes,
But also in a lifetime....
